Sun, sea, sand and penguins – what a view! This website was built for the Las Hualas resort in Punta de Choros, Chile Including a booking request system, this site was complicated by needing to be in two languages – Spanish & English so once again PolyLang plugin was my friend. Even so, some theme & plugin language files needed customisation. There was also a lot of functionality included in the theme which we didn’t need so I was able to slim it down quite a bit.
The resort manager has a great level of English, which was more than lucky as I have next to no Spanish 🙂 I installed the Wordpress admin area in Spanish and provided them with training manuals and email support so that they can update the property pages, testimonials and FAQ’s themselves . This helps keep their ongoing maintenance costs down.
Looking forward to the day I can visit – I want to go penguin spotting!
